The Detroit Tigers had the season series finale against the White Sox postponed to Monday by rain late last week. Coming on the heels of Sunday's walk-off loss against the Indians, it had the potential to either cut the Tigers' deficit in the American League Central to one game, or make it a dispiriting three games.
