ALCS schedule released

The schedule for the American League Championship Series has been released, even though the second team is not yet set. Detroit and Oakland play Game 5 of their AL Division Series Thursday at 8:07 p.m., to determine who will face Boston. [UPDATE: The Tigers beat the A's, 3-0, to advance to their third straight ALCS.]

The Red Sox have home-field advantage in the 2-3-2 format series, so Games 1 and 2, will be in Boston, as well as the if-necessary Games 6 and 7.
