Out of Left Field Tigers live chat, Week 2

After a schizophrenic home stand — where the Tigers pounded the first-place White Sox, but lost a series to the bumbling Cleveland Indians — Detroit heads on the road for a 10-game, three-city swing that could make or break its season.

“Everybody else knows the importance of it, obviously the players, manager and coaches know the importance of it," manager Jim Leyland said Wednesday night, of the trip that makes stops in Los Angeles, Chicago and Cleveland. "The fans know, I’m sure they’ll be watching and there’ll be some late nights for them, maybe, when we’re in Anaheim. Then off to Chicago. Yeah, I don’t think you can downplay it. It’s an important trip. There’s no question about that. We’ve got to go out and play some better baseball than we have on the road recently. If we do that, I’ll take my chances. We’ve got a good team, we’ll just see how it plays out.”

So there's plenty for us to talk about today, as we have our second weekly live chat. Tune in at 12:30 p.m. with your questions.
