So Monday's game is on MLB Network; Do you get it at your house?
Now we finally know when Monday's Game 3 of the American League Division Series between the Detroit Tigers and Oakland A's will be starting. It's 1:07 p.m. Eastern Time (and 10:07 a.m. on the West Coast). Friday's announcement by MLB took care of that.
And we also know that it will be broadcast on MLB Network TV, one of two Division Series games to go on the network already this playoff season. (The remainder have been on TBS, and the AL Championship Series and World Series will be on Fox.)
Matt Vasgersian will do the play-by-play for the 1:07 p.m. game, with Jim Kaat providing analysis and Sam Ryan acting as the roving reporter.
But will you be able to see it?
That depends. According to MLB Network's PR folks, the network has an agreement with the top 10 distributors in the U.S., as well as 200 others. You can check the availability where you are by going to www.FindMLBNetwork.com, or by checking the list below.
The game will still be broadcast on the same spots on the radio dial — with the ESPN coverage on 105.1-FM, and the Tigers' own broadcast on 97.1-FM The Ticket.
