VIDEO: Verlander talks about 14K performance vs. New York

Justin Verlander struck out 14 New York Yankees in Monday's 7-2 win, matching his career high.

It was the most strikeouts by a Tigers pitcher against the Yankees since Jim Bunning had 14 on June 20, 1958. David Wells was the last Tigers pitcher to even record double-digit strikeouts against the Yankees, with 10 in 1995.

The total gave Verlander 1,381 strikeouts for his career, putting him past Goerge Mullin into sixth place on the franchise's all-time list.

So what did Verlander want to talk about after the momentous game?
