ALCS Game 4 live chat (Fister vs. Peavy)

The Tigers have gotten sterling starting pitching in the American League Championship Series — shoot, the whole postseason now. But it hasn't been the deciding factor. Max Scherzer dominated Sunday, and the Tigers lost Game 2 late. Justin Verlander, the same in Tuesday's Game 3. And still Boston won, on Mike Napoli's home run, the only score in a 1-0 game.

It's the first time that the first three games of an ALCS have been decided by one run. Two of them, 1-0.

Now, it's up to the Tigers' Doug Fister, and the Red Sox's Jake Peavy to see if that trend continues in Wednesday's Game 4.

First pitch is 8:07 p.m., and we'll be here throughout the game.
